On the 18th of January 2018, the HyperOLED team met in Grenoble (France) for their first year consortium meeting. The partner Microoled hosted the meeting at their premises located on the MINATEC innovation campus, an international hub for micro and nanotechnology research gathering 3,000 researchers, 1,200 students, and 600 business and technology transfer experts.
During the meeting, the partners discussed the advancement of project tasks and planned the forthcoming activities to achieve the project targets. After one year of project, the project partners obtained very promising results on the shielded emitter's materials and TADF host. Other interesting results on the optical anisotropy will considerably increase the success of the project and the development of innovative hyperfluorescent OLEDs.
The visit to the partner Microoled on the MINATEC campus was also the occasion to meet their successful team, see their range of microdisplay products and more importantly visit their production site and dedicated space in MINATEC's 13,000 m² of clean room.
